Welcome to Independent Graphic Machinery
Going to DRUPA?
Why?
Why are you wasting thousands and thousands of your Company's
hard earned money, by travelling thousands of miles....
To see nothing.
If you are thinking about buying USED machines, then why are you
visiting the show?
All you will find are booths with a table and chair inviting you to
look at peoples stock list through a Laptop.
And then when you have finished, you will walk to the next booth
to do the same thing over and over again.
Each supplier has access to the same manufacturers,
the same banks, the same government institutions etc.
So there is a good chance you will see the same machines on everybody
else's list because of this.
The internet can provide you with 10 times more information, from the
comfort of your own office or home.
A lot of suppliers feel forced to exhibit because "XYZ" competitor is exhibiting
so they feel that they must too.
We have a different approach, and would rather be showing machinery to
genuine buyers, on site and in production.
Years ago, without the internet, then yes we understand the need to visit.
But NOT now.
There is absolutely no need, unless of course you enjoy the travel, and
squandering time and money.
These are the customers we hope to avoid.
A credible buyer will see this, and not travel just for the "fun".
If you want to be taken seriously, don't waste your time and money.
On the other hand, if you are looking for NEW machinery, then it is completely
understandable that you would want to keep up with new technology and
comparisons between manufacturers etc.
However, because of the increasing cost, low attendance, and low quality of visitors
(students, tyre kickers, dreamers) exhibitions have largely become unpopular with
manufacturers and agents, to the point where the big players started to downsize
or cancel altogether during the pre Covid years.
I think they see this Drupa as a chance to re-kindle the excitement, however the
internet and it's various platforms will remain the most popular, and I have no doubt
that once the buzz of the first exhibition since Covid is over.....it will be back to normal.
Welcome.......
Searching the internet for equipment can be frustrating.
You will come accross lots of dealers who list many items, and then when you
enquire about them.....there is always a strange story as to why they are not
actually for sale.
Alternatively, you will be told "just been sold".
When in fact, if you check back in 1 month the machine will still be listed.
Most dealers have a policy of flooding their websites with almost every model
there is of any product on the market - even though there is NO SUCH MACHINE available at all.
That is because they hope that the internet search engines "spiders" the product name, and then guides you to their site.
Then they begin the process of trying to convince you to buy an alternative.
Not really the behavior you would expect from a partner you want to do business with, short or long term.
This is why, here at IGM, we guarantee everything we list is a real machine, and genuinely for sale, and available to buy.
So avoid the frustration, and contact us to begin a RELIABLE, ACCURATE dialogue.
