Our rules for Machinery Inspections
We invite customers to come and visit at any time.
Viewing machinery in stock, or locally is never any problem.
However, as we can offer machinery from anywhere in the world, if we need to arrange an overseas inspection for one of our clients, then certain rules apply.
These are the 4 most important questions we ask our clients, before we
arrange and agree to any overseas visit.
1.
Does the buyer have space for the Equipment?
(not currently looking for another building)
2.
Does the buyer have enough power/other utilities to run the Equipment
(not "in the process" of adding the utilities)
3.
Does the buyer have work for the Equipment?
(not trying to win a contract, and will then buy machinery)
4.
Does he have the money in hand, or already approved by the bank?
(Not waiting for finance approval)
We ask these questions, because without an answer "yes" to ALL 4 of
these questions, then .......what is the point in visiting?
You will be surprised how many "buyers" travel to see a machine, and then
afterwards say:
"We now have to find room for it"
or
"I must now check if we have enough power"
or
"We now have to get work/win a contract for it"
or
"we now have to ask the bank for money"
Therefore, if the buyer says yes to all of these questions, then all he has
to do is confirm the machine is "as described", be happy with the inspection/test,
and then the deal will be done.
Any travel has a cost/time impact, and therefore we ask clients not to travel
without the express reason to buy the machine subject to inspection, having
completed the necessary pre visit rules regarding space, power, work and finance.
Costs incurred by ourselves, for any inspection, will be passed onto the
client..... where no purchace is made.
For some inspections - where stock, consumables, operators or demonstrators are charged to us, these costs must be paid for by the buyer, in advance of the inspection.
Where a customer requires a Visa, we can ONLY assist with the required documents, provided that the customer is ready to make an immediate application, followed by immediate travel bookings upon Visa approval, and will NOT entertain any such request without a refundable deposit for the machine in question.
